We, at PERSIMMON
LANE, are about traveling to all corners of China in search
of centuries-old production traditions that are inexorably
losing their battle to modern machinery and rapid urbanization.
Each piece of PERSIMMON LANE accessory requires handmade
details that cannot be performed by machine. Even the materials
we work with such as bamboo, high-elevation palm and ramie
require hand labor beginning with cultivation. Encouraging
non-polluting, true-to-tradition manufacturing is our way
of protecting the natural and cultural heritage of a legendary
place and ensuring the appreciation of the handmade by future
